Fueling Good Impressions: Forecourts that Speak Volumes
It's Here Where Cleanliness and Service Fuel Customer Satisfaction
It all starts at the "forecourt" of a convenience store or truck stop. This is defined as the area from the store entrance to the main highway or thoroughfare, the appearance and condition of which is crucial to the success of a fuel and retail location. It comprises various elements, including lighting, signage, landscaping, fuel dispenser islands, canopies, storefronts, awnings, and parking areas. The appearance and upkeep of the forecourt significantly influence customer perceptions and, ultimately, business success.
Let's cover some of the specific areas and items that make the forecourt, including the services designed to efficiently and effectively address them for you so you don't have to.

Storefronts, Outbuildings and Entryways
Dingy storefronts and grimy entryways can deter potential customers. The same oil and grease that stains the gas lanes is the same oil and grease that customers track into your store. This is usually evident by the black trail that leads to your entryway. These stains require the same aggressive attention as the fuel pads. Filthy, greasy entryways signal neglect and lowers your customer's trust in your business. The solution lies in employing specialized cleaning techniques and the right equipment to tackle these common issues effectively.
Attention to outbuildings, including dumpster pad enclosures and carwash buildings, is crucial. Regular cleaning of these areas prevents unsightly build-up and odors, promoting a thoroughly clean and attractive environment for your entire premises.
By focusing on these critical areas with proper care, you can transform a dirty exterior into one that's welcoming to your customers, ensuring they step into an establishment with a positive impression.

GAS STATIONS
Why are gas stations so dirty?
Gas stations are so dirty (and become dirty faster) because of use. These businesses experience a lot of foot and vehicle traffic, and the smoke can contribute to a dirty gas station, too.
GAS STATIONS
Q:
How do you clean a gas station canopy?
A:
Power washing is an effective and efficient method to clean canopies. Depending on the material, we use the right pressure level, temperature, and detergent to remove loose dirt, grime, cobwebs, insect nests, bird nests, bird droppings, and stains. As for chemicals, this depends on which section we're cleaning, the composition of the stain or pollutant, the presence or absence of people and traffic, and EPA standards. But generally speaking, our general lineup includes sodium hypochlorite, sodium hydroxide, Enviro Bio Cleaner, and BC Cleansol - both of which are nono-hazard and non-toxic.
GAS STATIONS
How do you clean a gas station pump station?
Covering the pump is important if doing nearby pressure washing to protect water entry to card readers. Then, low-pressure, low-impact cleaning with sodium hydroxide based degreasers is the most effective way to clean a gas pump.
GAS STATIONS
Does pressure washing remove oil stains?
The short answer is 'no' - not entirely. Concrete is very porous. Oil and various other fluids that have been absorbed into the concrete will almost always leave a discolored shadow. Nevertheless, the difference between concrete that has been pressure washed with concrete that has not, is remarkably evident. The surface stains alone make up for the most of the unsightly appearance. While some product manufactures make claims to the contrary - experience has proven otherwise.
GAS STATIONS
What are the most common cleaning problems with gas stations and convenience stores?
Oil and grease stains are obviously the most common problems that gas stations experience. Other problems include loose dirt, grime, cobwebs, gum, and insect nests.
GAS STATIONS
How long does it take to pressure wash a gas station?
It depends on the size and condition of the facility. Every job is different, so the time it takes to complete each one can vary greatly on a number of factors.
GAS STATIONS
How much do you charge for your gas station power washing service?
We usually charge based on square footage. However, some factors – such as the presence of specific kinds of pollutants, uncommon problems, and the need for multiple pre-treatments and/or post-treatments – can affect the final cost of the job.
GAS STATIONS
How often should gas stations be cleaned?
Since gas stations get dirty quicker, it is ideal to clean them monthly. At the very least we would recommend two or three times a year or more, depending on foot and vehicle traffic.
GAS STATIONS
Will pressure washing affect business during operating hours?
A:
We can adjust to the schedule of our customers. We can arrive at a time when your gas station is the least busy or congested. WE can even arrive after closing. This way, we won’t affect business.
GAS STATIONS
Do you offer a warranty for gas stations?
A:
No. We do give a satisfaction guarantee, but due to the nature of gas stations, we do not offer any other extended warranties.
