The Story Behind Klein Pressure Washing
A Family, a Purpose, and the Weekend Business That Became Something More
Who I Am
I’m Steve, the owner and founder of Klein Pressure Washing.
For more than 30 years, my wife, Stacy, and I have called Klein, Texas home. This is where we raised our family, built lifelong friendships, served our community, and learned just how much faith, perseverance, and hard work can carry a family through.
Professionally, I spent nearly 30 years in the corporate world as a digital marketing professional, with the last 11 years focused specifically on the home services industry. That career gave me the opportunity to help companies grow, understand what customers expect from service businesses, and see firsthand what separates companies that merely make promises from those that consistently deliver.
At the same time, I served as a volunteer firefighter with the Klein Fire Department, while Stacy dedicated her career to education in Klein ISD.
Why Klein Pressure Washing Began
Klein Pressure Washing did not begin with a business plan, an investor, or some vision of building a large company.
It began with a family goal.
We had college expenses ahead of us, and I wanted to find a way to help pay for them without putting that burden on our kids.
So I bought some equipment, started working weekends, and Klein Pressure Washing was born.
For years, I worked my regular career during the week and pressure washed on Saturdays and Sundays. The income from those jobs had a very specific purpose: help fund the education of my wife and our children.
That was the reason.
Not growth.
Not expansion.
Not recognition.
Education.
And that is why this photograph means so much to me.
The three people standing behind me represent the reason I started this company in the first place.
Stacy, with an undergraduate degree from South Alabama, completed her graduate education at Lamar University. Our daughter graduated from Texas A&M. Our son graduated from Sam Houston State University.
Every house washed, every driveway cleaned, every commercial property completed, every early morning, and every long weekend helped move our family a little closer to this picture.
When I look at it, I don’t just see graduation caps and diplomas.
I see hundreds of weekends.
I see long days.
I see sacrifice.
I see perseverance.
I see answered prayers.
And I see a family where everyone did their part and kept moving forward together.
This photograph is, in many ways, what Klein Pressure Washing was built to accomplish.

It Seems Like Only Yesterday

Then AT&T Called
For a while, Klein Pressure Washing was a relatively small operation.
Then AT&T called.
They asked us to clean one of their central office facilities near Spring Cypress and Stuebner Airline. So we did indeed. In fact, we made pretty short work of it too!
Anyone familiar with the area could tell you what a difference it made. You can see the transformation here for yourself.
Following the success of that first project, they asked us to clean 42 additional facilities throughout Houston and South Texas, including large central office properties with buildings, sidewalks, parking areas, and other exterior surfaces spanning entire city blocks. Some very ornate, others ordinary and utilitarian. A few the target of graffiti vandalism, and some by time and natural degradation.
That was a turning point for Klein Pressure Washing.
What began as one company trusting a small weekend operation with a single facility became an opportunity to prove that we could handle large, complex commercial projects while delivering the same level of care and attention we brought to the driveway of a neighbor down the street. This not to mention the many after-hours gas stations, drive-thru restaurants, gulf coast beach houses, apartment breezeways, and graffiti removal projects on steroids!
Also Built for Commercial Pressure Washing
What started as a weekend operation had now proven something important:
Klein Pressure Washing could handle much more than houses and driveways. Today, the company operates as a DBA of Kleinco Services Group, LLC, our parent company created to support the continued growth of our commercial services. What began as a weekend pressure washing business has now entered its next organizational chapter, with Kleinco providing the structure for larger commercial projects, recurring service programs, and continued expansion.
The AT&T projects required planning, consistency, communication, safety, scheduling around active facilities, and the ability to produce the same standard of work across dozens of locations.

Since then, commercial pressure washing has become a major part of who we are.
Our experience has included work for:
- Restaurants and drive-thrus
- Gas stations and convenience stores
- Apartment communities and breezeways
- Retail and commercial properties
- Parking areas, sidewalks, and curbing
- Graffiti removal projects
- Gulf Coast and coastal properties
- Large multi-location commercial programs
- After-hours and overnight service
- Recurring maintenance work
Commercial clients often have different priorities than residential customers.
Property managers, facility operators, and business owners need dependable scheduling, appropriate insurance, clear communication, minimal disruption to customers and tenants, safe work practices, and a contractor capable of handling recurring service across multiple locations.
That is the kind of commercial partner Klein Pressure Washing is working to be.
Today, commercial property cleaning is not a sideline for Klein Pressure Washing. It is a major part of our business and an important part of our future.
From a single storefront to a multi-property maintenance program, we have the equipment, experience, and flexibility to handle projects throughout the Houston area and across South Texas, including overnight and after-hours service when the property needs to remain operational during the day.
Proven on Weekends. Built for Much More.
Even while Klein Pressure Washing was operating primarily on weekends, we were building a record of excellence.
During those same years our kids were in college, the company became BBB Accredited, maintained an A+ Rating, and earned BBB Awards for Excellence in 2023, 2024, and 2025, with another nomination in 2026.
Looking back, that means a lot to me.
We were helping our kids work toward their goals while also building a company that was earning the trust and recognition of the community we served.
Small schedule did not mean small standards.
A New Chapter
But life has a way of changing our plans.
Doors close. Others open.
And as a Christian, I believe God sometimes redirects our path in ways we would never have chosen or anticipated for ourselves.
Recently, Klein Pressure Washing entered a completely new chapter.
What was once a weekend-only business has since become my full-time focus.
These days, a job may start during the day, continue through the night, and sometimes find us still working when the sun comes back up.
From weekend side business to day, night, and sometimes day again, Klein Pressure Washing has grown along with the circumstances of our lives.
That change also gives us the ability to pursue larger commercial projects, recurring maintenance programs, and multi-location relationships in a way that simply was not possible when the company operated primarily on weekends.
And through every season, the purpose has remained remarkably consistent:
Work hard. Provide for our family. Serve people well. Honor God in the way we do it.
The Faith That Guides Me
I am a follower of Jesus Christ.
I believe Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for our sins and rose again, and that salvation is found through faith in Him.
My desire is to glorify Him in my life, my family, my work, and in the way I treat every person He places in my path.
That is not a marketing statement.
It is simply the foundation of who I am.
I believe in keeping my word.
I believe people should be treated honestly and fairly.
I believe we should work hard when someone has trusted us with a responsibility.
And I believe that whether we are doing something big or something seemingly insignificant, we should do it with excellence.
Those values shape Klein Pressure Washing every day.
What We Bring to Every Property
There are plenty of pressure washing companies that want your business.
What I hope makes Klein Pressure Washing different is the family, the experience, and the values standing behind the name.
When you hire us, you are trusting us with something you worked hard for.
- Your home.
- Your business.
- Your property.
- Your reputation.
We don’t take that responsibility lightly.
Our mission is pretty simple:
Do excellent work. Treat people right. Keep our word. Honor God in the way we conduct ourselves. Leave something better behind than we found it.
Never Forgetting Why It Started
Klein Pressure Washing has become much more than the little weekend business I started years ago to help put kids through college.
But I never want it to become so big that we forget why it began, where we came from, or Who ultimately deserves the credit for every good thing in our lives.
If our family’s story inspires anyone else, then sharing it was worthwhile.
And if you give Klein Pressure Washing the opportunity to care for your home or business, we would be honored to earn your trust.
